NBA -- Indiana Pacers vs Boston Celtics Pick and Prediction

The Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers meet once again as they duke it out at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday night.

Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Pacers still find themselves in the lower rung in the East. Losing four of their last five games almost midway through the season, Indiana have been inconsistent. They have shown little signs of turning things around as well. Indiana Pacers were defeated by the Celtics on Monday 101-98 in the first of two consecutive meetings between the two. Torrey Craig led the team in scoring with 19 points on eight of 12 shooting off the bench, Lance Stephenson added 14 points while Domantas Sabonis, Justin Holiday, and Jeremy Lamb each scored 11 points. The Indiana Pacers are averaging 107.9 points on 45.7 percent shooting and allowing 107.9 points on 46.3 percent shooting.

Boston Celtics
The Celtics are 20-21 and fourth in the Atlantic division six games behind the first-place Brooklyn Nets.  The win against the Indiana Pacers poses an important point in the Boston Celtics campaign. Almost midway through the season, the Celtics find themselves a game out .500 and on the brink of play-in contention. Jaylen Brown led the team with 26 points, 15 rebounds and six assists, Jayson Tatum added 24 points with 12 rebounds while Robert Williams chipped in with 14 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks. The Boston Celtics are averaging 107.5 points on 44.3 percent shooting and allowing 105.9 points on 43.8 percent shooting.

Although the Celtics have most of their key pieces and have momentum with a two-game win streak, they are on a six-game losing slide on the road. The Pacers are a solid scoring team and they are 12-10 at home this season. Therefore, it’s trusted that Indianas homecourt advantage should be Bostons undoing in this game.
