The Golden State Warriors will take on the Chicago Bulls in their first game of the NBA on Friday night.
The Bulls have won 15 of their first 20 home games and are at the top of the Eastern Conference standings. Chicago led by 20 in the third quarter of Thursdays 138-112 home loss to Brooklyn. The Bulls (27-12) allowed the Nets to shoot 56 percent from the field. Zach LaVine had a team-high 22 points and six assists on 8-of-13 shooting. DeMar DeRozan contributed 19 points and four rebounds.
Golden State Warriors
This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Warriors, who was outscored by 23 points in the second quarter in last nights 118-99 loss with Milwaukee. The Warriors (30-11) turned the ball over 15 times and shot 35 percent from the field. Andrew Wiggins led the Golden State Warriors with 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting. Rookie Jonathan Kuminga added 15 points and seven rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench for the Warriors.
Golden State are tough to turn down in underdog roles, but they end up back-to-back here, and theyre likely to be without Draymond and Klay. The Chicago Bulls rested, winning by an average of 6.7 points at home and 6.9 points in the hot role.
